Their clothes were torn, dirty, and old, they were bare footed, carrying empty and dirty plates, they were kids, they were beggars.
However, they danced to the sound of music coming from a house, they forgot about themselves and danced freely, they probably don't have any food for dinner that night, but it doesn't matter to them, they choose to be happy and not let their situation weigh them down.
So this really got me thinking, if these young ones can be so joyful to dance to the sound of music despite their situation, then why should I let one situation define my joy or state of mind?
Instead of allowing situations and challenges steal our joy, and becoming objects of pity by people, we should think of how to find solutions to our problems and challenges.
Uncle, Aunty, Mummy, Daddy, what is that situation and challenge that you have allowed to steal your joy, and made you become an object of pity, don't let that challenge define your state of mind, rise up and seek for solutions.
Fine, it's okay to get bothered and think about our challenges at times , but staying in them, thinking about them without looking for solutions won't help.
....Seek for solutions, don't let that situation and challenge steal your joy....
